She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Chelesvig and Martha Chelesvig (Berhow); her siblings, Maurice, Charles, Joseph and Julie; and her grandson Adam Gangestad.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Gangestad (Mary) of Marion, IA, Colleen Gangestad of Creston, IA, Diane Eilts (Duane) of Massena, IA and Alan Gangestad (Terri) of Valley, NE; and her siblings, Ruth Helmick of Prairie Village, KS, Tom Chelesvig of Webster City, IA and Jim Chelesvig (Caye) of Belmond, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
