She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Anderson and Edna Anderson; her husband Donald Brix; her siblings, Darlene Pieken, Jerry Peterson and Donald Peterson; her grandson Tyler Brix; and her son-in-law Roger Maas.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Brix, Patty Maas, Kay Jorgensen (Dennis), Jerry Brix (Christy) and Denise Johnson (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Brix, Nick Brix, Danyelle Gates (James), Shannon Gearheart (Rob), Alison Tupper, Joe Maas (Melissa), Amy Johnson (Joe), Brian Jorgensen (Amy), Drew Johnson (Amy), Manda Mueller (Bradley), Melissa Miller (Nathan), Matt Brix (Kim) and Emily Finken (Chad). She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
