She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pierce and Sara Pierce (Ireland); her parents-in-law, Alvin and Rachael Beatty (William G.); her son William P. Beatty (Bill); her siblings, Edna Pierce, Mary Kunze (Clarence), Helen Underwood (Edwin), Fred Pierce (Esther), Ralph Pierce (Junellyn) and Robert Pierce; her brothers-in-law, Henry Beatty (Carolyne), Don Beatty (Beulavon) and Max Beatty; and her nephews, Alan Underwood and Dean Beatty.
She is survived by: her husband William G. Beatty (Bill); her daughter Emily Jordan (Bruce) of West Bend, Wisconsin; her grandsons, Jeffrey Jordan of Denver and Nicholas Jordan (Erin) of Minneapolis; and her sister-in-law Mary E. Beatty of Avoca. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Atlantic Public Library and can be left or mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home formerly Hockenberry Funeral Care in Atlantic.
