He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Ann Pickens (Matt), Brad Henningsen (Kendra) and Beth Wieland (Joe); his grandchildren, Owen, Jack, Kate of Emma, JJ, Cam and Lola; his sisters, Lynn Sparks and Christy Pfordresher (Mike); and his stepsister Robyn Uehling.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Atlantic First United Presbyterian Church, a place that meant so much to Mike throughout his life.
