With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Baker of Atlantic, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hoden and Maude Hoden Eveland (Quick); her husband Rollie; her children, Jeanne Weight and Gary Baker; and her siblings, Marilyn Smith, Harry Hoden and Donald Hoden (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Pross (Frank) and Dr. Larry Baker (Mary Carol); her daughter-in-law Judy Baker; her grandchildren, Laurie Cooley (Michael), Timothy Pross (Ann), Lisa Preeg (William), Daniel Pross, Lynn Baker, Brian Weight (Leah), Kristen Weight, Paul Baker, Dr. Matthew Baker (Kayla) and Dr. Michelle Baker; her great grandchildren, Lindsay Downing (Drew), Leslie Herrick, Ethan Pross, Jordan Baker, Tony Pross (Danielle), Ashley Siepker (Nick), Megan Andersen (Mike), Garret Pross (Charisma), Austin Pross, Alex Pross and Kelsey Pross; her great great grandchildren, Grace, Knox, Jordin, Jaxon, Paxton, Hoyt, Evelynn, Aayla, Owen, MaKenna, Addisyn, Eleanor and Payton; and her sister Mildred Rourick.
