He is survived by: his children, Crystal (George Starlin) of Cumberland, IA, Lyle Filkins, Jr. (Valerie) of Mason City, IA, Kelli (Lowell Evans) of Corning, IA, Steven (Shawn Filkins) of Elizabethtown, KY and Kimberly (Dustin Wyman) of Griswold, IA; his grandchildren, Elisha (Adam Hardy) of Cumberland, Max (Jordan Starlin) of Griswold, Dustin Starlin (Josie) of Treynor, IA, Danielle (Nathan Johnstone) of Lebanon, IN, Staci (Mark Faber) of Waverly, NE, Brittney (Landon Cason) of Albia, IA, Haley Noecker (Nick), Shelby Evans of Portsmouth, IA, Aaron Filkins of Corydon, IN, Alex Filkins of Corydon, IN, Tyler Johnson (Victoria Bartels) of Harrisburg, SD, Jordyn Steffens of Ames, IA and Kennedy Wyman of Griswold; and his siblings, Don Filkins, Donna Garrett, Richard Filkins, Pat Garges, Kenneth Filkins (Sandra), Larry Filkins and Wendell Filkins (Emma). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
