She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Behnken and Donna Behnken (Schwanke). She is survived by: her spouse Gene Marxen; her children, Joshua Marxen (Sheila Conrad) of Audubon, Faith Bass (Joe Padilla) of Elk Horn, Elizabeth Blatny (Sean Alff) of Oakland, Matthew Marxen (Jen) of Exira, Daniel Marxen (Maggie Fender) of Exira, Mary Pedersen (Steve) of Exira and Sarah Marxen of Atlantic, IA; her siblings, Steve Behnken of Anita and Kris Schuler (Jeff) of Atlantic; her uncle Dennis Schwanke; and her aunt Sue Schwanke of Atlantic. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
