It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Johnson of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Juhler (Christensen) and Jens Juhler; her husband Louie Johnson; her brother Harold Juhler; her sisters-in-law, Peggy and Viola; her sisters, Marie Ross (John) and Violet Kardell (Clarence); her nephews, Sherwin Kardell and Sheldon Kardell; and her niece Pam Darrow (Kardell).
She is survived by: her sons, Stanley Johnson (Jill) of Colorado and Steven Johnson (Shannon) of Texas; and her grandchildren, Kyle Johnson (Khanithada) of Booneville, Andrea Johnson (Jeff) of Colorado, Rachel Kerns (Ian) of North Liberty, Ben Johnson (Katie) of Oklahoma, Linsey Otte (Mark) of Texas and Preston Johnson of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for later designation to a college scholarship for Atlantic seniors pursuing a career in education.
