Leona Gard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Gard of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Grant and Clara Mary Carr (Brosam); her husbands, Wilbur Gard and Howard Juel; and her siblings, Floyd Carr (Audrey), Florence Swift (Loyd), Betty Nagel (Fred) and Imo Jean Herrick (Eugene).
She is survived by: her son Clinton Gard (Patricia) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Shayna and Brett; her great grandchildren, JoEllyn Anderson (Gene) and Jacqueline Conzemius (Steve); and her siblings, John Carr of Pleasant Valley, MO, Sharon Rock (Larry) of Atlantic, IA, Irene Nagel of Shenandoah, IA and Jerry Carr (Carolyn) of Wintston Salem, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
