Joni Knapp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joni Knapp of Atlantic, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joni Knapp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Knapp; and her parents-in-law, Phyllis Knapp and Orville Knapp. She is survived by: her parents, Marion Kaufmann and Jerry Kaufmann (Bailey) of Atlantic, IA; her children, Deena Godwin (Kael) of Washougal, WA and Daniel Knapp (Brittany) of Tulsa, OK; her brother Joey Kaufmann (Ellen) of Anita, IA; and her grandchildren, Kirstyn Bisig of Washougal, WA, Dekker of Tulsa, OK, Presli of Tulsa, OK, Audri of Tulsa, OK, Daxon of Tulsa, OK and Daisi Knapp of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home - Atlantic (1804 E 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (800 Poplar St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home - Atlantic (1804 E 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022).
Memorials may be directed to the Knapp family in memory of Joni, they will be designated at a later date.
