He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Eskew and Florence Eskew (McWiliams); his wife Waunita Scott; and his siblings, Rex, Robert and Lola.
He is survived by: his son David Eskew (Deborah) of Ashburn, Virginia; and his granddaughters, Haley Teves and Sydney Eskew of Ashburn. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
