He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Barry of Atlantic and Jeffrey Mewhirter (Deanna) of Northlake, TX; his grandchildren, Taylor Barry of Urbandale, IA, Nick Barry of Los Angeles, CA, Ashley Davis (Cody) of Haslet, TX and Amy Deboard of Fort Worth, TX; his great grandchild Dylan Davis; his brothers, Jack Mewhirter of Madeira Beach, FL and Jim Mewhirter (Martha) of Vancouver, WA; his sisters-in-law, Betty Mewhirter and Sharlene Milner of Montrose, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Deb Straw (Steve), Greg Mewhirter (Jennie), Robin Wilson (Bill), Tracey Braun (Dean), Ben Mewhirter, Jack Michael Mewhirter, Leigh Ann Mewhirter (Gerie Van Duist), Erin Glick (Rich) and Jay Mewhirter.
