It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Weirich (Atlantic, Iowa), who passed away on August 2, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Denny" Denman and Evelyn Cleo Barringer (Woolsey); her husband Glenn; her son-in-law Jake Schwartzkopf; her sister-in-law Fern Barringer; and also, Virginia Bolz (Kenny), June Martin (Harry), Nancy Armstrong (Bill), Billie Barringer (Connie) and Jerry Barringer.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Couldry (Bill) of St. Joseph, Shirley Conry (Richard) of Griswold, Diane Milner (Brent) of Griswold, Deb Ray (Marvin) of Omaha, Duane Weirich (Gwen) of Lewis and Dale Weirich (Laura) of Council Bluffs; and her brother Jimmy Barringer of Fairmont. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
