With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jan Mason of Atlantic, Iowa, born in Loup City, Nebraska, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Harenza and Pauline Harenza; and her husband Leslie Mason of Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Rick Mason (Diane) of Des Moines, IA, Tom Mason (Elizabeth) of Dallas, TX, Dan Mason (Toni) of Chandler, AZ, John Mason and Mary Bolser of Des Moines, IA; her daughter-in-law Tammy Jensen of Urbandale, IA; her grandchildren, Becky Bolte (Eric), David Mason (Victoria), Parker Mason, Caroline Mason, Courtney Starr (Thomas), Drew Mason, Sara Mason, Derek Bolser and Mason Bolser; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia, Charlotte, Henry, Evelyn and Clara Jo; and her cousin Sandy.
Flowers may be sent to Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church or, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jan Mason to a charity of your choice or otherwise mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O.
