It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Barnes of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Grace may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Smith (Susann) of Omaha, Julie Keasey of Bridgewater and Kimberly Ruiz of Atlantic. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Roland Funeral Home (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Atlantic Cemetery (63119 White Pole Rd, Atlantic, IA 50022).
