Vernon, IA; his children, Reece, Ava, Tryston, Shyler Olsen of Cedar Rapids, IA, Christopher, Kairi, Sarah Olsen of Red Oak, IA, Lyndsey Shaw (Justin) of Atlantic, IA, Cheyenne, Joel Hansen (Stacie) of Marne, IA, Matthew of Atlantic, IA, Paisely of Atlantic, IA, Jacob of Atlantic, IA, Jayden Hansen of Atlantic, IA and Jarrett Hansen of Atlantic, IA; his siblings, Charles Olsen (Jane) of Leawood, KS and Nadine Williamson of Wiota; his siblings-in-law, Mary Nichols Olsen of Marshalltown, IA, Jane Cook of Westport, Washington, Dr. Dale Weber of Camanche, IA, Dennis Dasher of Corning, IA and Randy McNeese of Lewis, IA; and also Laura Olsen. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Atlantic or the Danish Museum of America in Elk Horn.
