We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 82, Doris Hensel of Atlantic, Iowa, born in Bristow, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Hutchings and Bessie Bell Hutchings (Walker); her parents-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Hensel; her grandchildren, Justin and Kari Doris; her stepgreat-grandson Emery Jane; her siblings, Cleo Hutchings (Neoma), Juanita Plum (Bud), Everett Hutchings and Arlene Jenkins (Elmer); and her sisters-in-law, Mona Delfs (Adrian) and Donna Weston (Teddy).

She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Peggy Smith (J. C.), Lori Rutherford (Paul), Rod Hensel (Tina), Kim Whetstone (Tyler) and Ron Hensel (Deb); her daughter-in-law Paula Hensel (Rachel); her stepson Bill Hensel (Lisa); her grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua (Jamie), Jacob Joyce, Zeke, Jakob, Bennett, Adam (Whitney) and Robin (Tonya); her great grandchildren, Aidan Charles, Haley Rose and Lillian Jean; her stepgrandchildren, John, Elizabeth and Caroline; and also, Ashley (Clint), Samantha (Cade), Stephanie (Brandon), Jacky Samuelson (Bob) and Mable McCuen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
