It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E Gustafson of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Faga and Martha Faga (Hocamp); her siblings, Clara Schirm, Ellen Jean Brandt, George, Eldon, Donald and Robert; and her son Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Marcia) of Slater, Neil (Judy Roberts) of Urbandale, Sandy Chavez of Papillion, Nebraska, Sally DuHoux (Mike) of Atlantic and Dan of Kingston, Oklahoma; her brother Paul Faga (Joyce) of Harlingen, Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Sonie Faga and Margaret Gustafson of Villisca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the St. John's Cemetery Association in memory of Doris and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523.
