It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnis Helbourg of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Helbourg and Bertha Helbourg (Goettsch); her siblings, Lois Coomes and Leroy Helbourg; her brother-in-law Dean Coomes; and her niece Janelle Coomes.
She is survived by: her niece Jolene Laugerman (Duane) of Grimes; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joanna, Janelle of Des Moines, Andrew of Grimes and Alex of Grimes; her nephew Jeff Coomes of Atlantic; and her cousins, Russell Goettsch, Sharon Svuba and LaVerne Goettsch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests the planting of a tree in Donnis' memory.
