It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Fletcher of Atlantic, Iowa, born in Massena, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Mildred Fletcher (Maas); his son Joshua Fletcher; his father Howard Fletcher; his parents-in-law, Earl and Irene Bissell; his siblings, Junior Fletcher, Jack Fletcher, Donnie Fletcher (Carol) and Sharon Warrier; and his brothers-in-law, Ivan Porter, Ted Glass and Dale Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Fletcher of Atlantic; his sons, Michael Fletcher of Anita and Stephen Fletcher (Sheri) of Atlantic; his grandchildren, Travis Fletcher (Lexington) of Griswold, Curtis Fletcher (Kadi) of Lincoln, NE and Brooke Lundsgaard (Frederik) of Manchester, England; his great grandchildren, Freja Lundsgaard, Kaia Fletcher and Sadie Fletcher; his siblings, Annette Porter of Springfield, MO, Shirley Fletcher (Ken) of Onalaska, WI, Leola Glass of Houston, TX, Nancy Erickson of Massena, Richard Fletcher (Linda) of Valparaiso, NE and Robert Fletcher (Penny) of Warrenton, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Reyes (Jim Olsen) of Missouri Valley and Kathy Carns (Frank) of Greenfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
