He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd Cambridge and Louise Cambridge; his wife Lisa; his brothers, Edward (Ruth) of Glenwood and Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; his children, Richie Schmidt (Angie), Erich Schmidt (Jamie) of Des Moines and Greta Gromovich of Arlington; and his grandchildren, R. W., Norah Schmidt, Mila and Anya Gromovich. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
