He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Boner and Alma Mae Boner (Smith); his son Daniel Boner; and his siblings, Bluford Boner, Ruby Wallace and Mary Hannon.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Boner (Alice) of Glenwood, Karen McDonald (Brent) of Atlantic, Ronda Taylor of Omaha and Tony Bonner of Bradenton, Florida; and his siblings, Ann Hedell, Eda Mae Landrum, Richard Boner and Jimmy Boner. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
