Chris Towne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 58, Chris Towne of Atlantic, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Florence, Dale Towne, Louis and Madelene McCall; his father-in-law Edward Holtorf; his nephew Aiden Porter; and his grandparents-in-law, Frankie Nichelson, Paul and Bev Holz.
He is survived by: his mother Ruby Lou Towne (McCall) of Griswold; his wife Shelly Towne of Atlantic; his children, Corey Towne (Rebecca) of Audubon, Charlotte, Casee, Cadence and Clover Towne; his father Curtis Towne; his sister Suzanne Bradley of Milford; his parents-in-law, Paula and Tony Martens of Lewis; his sister-in-law Jennifer Porter (Jeremy Friedrichsen) of Audubon; and his nephews, Zach Holtorf of Exira and Jacob Porter of Audubon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roland Funeral Home (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to causes that were dear to Chris.
