With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolynn Blunk of Atlantic, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolynn left this world on September 28, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Addison and Arlene Louise Wickey (Behrends); her husband Earl Blunk; her parents-in-law, Wayne and Maxine Blunk; her son David Crum; and her siblings-in-law, Nedra Horn (Arnold), Jack Wright and Howard Ward.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Dorsey of Villisca and Carrie Kirchhoff (Tim Snyder) of Lewis; her grandchildren, Tonya Inman (Aaron) of Prescott, Mike Dorsey (Sarah) of Massena, Kaitlin Dorsey (Jeff Wood) of Stanton, Quinn Esbeck (Brian) of Atlantic, Cydney Karstens (Chris) of Norman, OK and Jayney Hoegh (Robson Bunda) of Honolulu, Hawaii; her great grandchildren, Anna Inman (Nolan Blum), Isabelle Myers (Tallen), Dillon Inman, Lucas Inman, Calvin Dorsey, Collin Dorsey, Wyatt Wood, Tanner Wood, Willow Esbeck, Axel Esbeck, Cambry Karstens, Covi Karstens, Caiya Karstens and Cazley Karstens; her siblings, Jacque Wickey of Atlantic, Barb Ward of Grant and Ralph Wickey (Judy) of Massena; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Blunk of Atlantic, Rosella Blunk of Atlantic, David Blunk (Carol) of Atlantic and Leita Blunk of Atlantic. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roland Funeral Service (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wiota First Lutheran Church (70139 Memphis Rd, Wiota, IA 50274). A burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Atlantic Cemetery (63119 White Pole Rd, Atlantic, IA 50022).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church.
