She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Christian and Pauline E. Walter (Harmsen); her husband Jack Johnson of Paul's Lutheran Church; her brothers, Henry Walter, Paul Walter (Connie) and Don Walter (Mardelle Maley); and her brother-in-law Gail Lange.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Johnson (Hope) of Clive, IA and Brad Johnson (Stephanie) of Simpsonville, SC; her granddaughters, Grace Johnson of Des Moines, IA and Eleanor Johnson of Iowa City, IA; her sisters, Annabelle Lange of Atlantic, IA and Emy Barringer (Jack) of Ames, IA; and her sister-in-law Jean Mezo of Mount Vernon, WA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
