She was predeceased by: her father William "Willie" Turk; her brothers, Kenneth Turk (Betty) and Owen Turk; her father-in-law Melvin Butcher; and her sisters-in-law, Melva Baker (Kenneth) and Laura.
She is survived by: her mother Viola Turk (Anderson); her husband James "Jim" Butcher; her children, Ted Butcher, James "Jim" Butcher (Ronda), Tammy Butcher, Kathy Bates (Brian) and Steve Butcher (Angie); her grandchildren, Blake Butcher (Erin Olsen), Steven Butcher, Andrew Butcher (Cherry Toney), Chris Bates (Jesi), Aaron Butcher, Justin Butcher (Julie), Shawn Clark (Jenny), Christy Winston (Justin), Tracy Clark, Allison Bates and Tyler Allsup (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Jackson Winston, Carsen Winston, Lola Winston, Payton Butcher, Jaylon Kay Butcher, Evan Butcher, Isaac Orton, Chayse Bates, Evelyn Clark, Bridget Allsup, Natalie Allsup and Hunter Allsup; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Turk and Yvonne Harrelson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roland Funeral Home (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Atlantic Cemetery (63119 White Pole Rd, Atlantic, IA 50022).
Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
