She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor L. Myers and Viola Myers (Schmitt) of Avoca; and her brother-in-law Verl Adams Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Vicki Myers Adams (Verl Adams, Jr.) of Atlantic; her niece Kathryn Adams (Chad Choquette); her great-nephews, Jeremiah and Zachary of Sloan; her great-niece Kristine Adams; her husband Rob Akins; her stepchildren, Riley, Cade, Christopher, Chloe, Jessica, Natalya of Aurora, Colorado and Ronnfeldt; and her cousin Shelby.
