She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Kloppenburg and Virginia Kloppenburg (Raasch); her children, Carolyn, Dawn and Owen; her brothers, David and Gary; and her sister-in-law Sandy Kloppenburg.
She is survived by: her husband Lynn Dorsey; her children, Lori Erickson and Cody Trent; her son-in-law Jon Banks (Jamie); her stepchildren, Becky Vais (Bernard), Sally Kloppenburg (Terry) and Dan Dorsey; and her brother Richard. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home - Atlantic (1804 E 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
