She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Jensen and Fannie Jensen (Watson); her husband Willard Smith; her daughter-in-law Mary Anne; her sister Irene Shellberg (Bob); and her siblings-in-law, Irene and Harvey Cocklin.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Smith of Atlantic, IA and Jean Schuler (Reggie) of Griswold, IA; and her grandchildren, Brian Smith (Amy), Amy Schendel (Tom), Cari Christian (Jake), Matthew Smith (Jess), Alex Smith (Kristina), Traci Thomason (Chris) and Mark Schuler (Kelsey). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
