She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Knutsen and Edna Christina Knutsen (Christensen); her stepmother Jeanie; and her siblings, Mary Ann Petty (Merrill) and Mads Knutsen (Vernice).
She is survived by: her husband Robert N. Esbeck; her sons, Rodney Esbeck of Atlantic and Dale Esbeck of Audubon; her granddaughter Kaylena Sutton (Tobin) of Lenox; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Jackson and Dominik; and her siblings, Carl Knutsen (Darlene) of Atlantic, Lovie Andersen (Roy) of North Liberty and Raymond Knutsen of Atlantic. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
