She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Ivan and Lula "Lou" Mae Milner (Edwards); her brothers, Robert Leroy Milner and Gerald Ivan Milner, Jr. (Jerry); her brother-in-law Tom Mewhirter; and her nephew Spencer Milner.
She is survived by: her husband Joe B. Mewhirter; her children, Cheryl Barry of Atlantic and Jeffrey Mewhirter (Deanna) of Northlake, TX; her grandchildren, Taylor Barry of Urbandale, IA, Nick Barry of Los Angeles, CA, Ashley Davis (Cody) of Haslet, TX and Amy Deboard of Fort Worth, TX; her great grandchild Dylan Davis; her siblings-in-law, Sharlene Milner of Montrose, CO, Betty Mewhirter, Jack Mewhirter of Madeira Beach, FL and Jim Mewhirter (Martha) of Vancouver, WA; her nieces, Kim Wagoner (George) of Atlantic and Darcy Garrison of Montrose, CO; and her great-nieces, Melanie Stoural, Stefanie Gross (Matt), Natalie Kay (Steven), Rachelle Wagoner, Halli Smith, Casias, Cutter Garrison and Cade Garrison. She is also survived by cousins, extended family and friends.
