With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tony R. Smith of Atkins, Iowa, born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Smith and Kitty Smith Sr. (Kelso); and his siblings, Dean Burks, Onda Bailey, Ann Kimbrell, Roy Smith Jr. and James Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Theis of Atkins; his sons, Eric Smith (Heidi) of Boise, ID, Alexander Smith (Elena) of Lawrence, KS, Nicholas Smith (Ashley) of Washington, D. C. and Patrick Smith of Atkins; his grandchildren, Dmitri, Amanda, Maksim, Carissa, Nikolai, Emerson and Ford Smith; and his sister Glynda Grinnell of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
