She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Urell and Ethel Urell (Drew); her husband Ralph Brandt; her sons, Leo and Steve Brandt; her siblings, John (Lela), James "Tony" Urell and Judy Sorum (Howard); and her brother-in-law Donnie Drew.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy Powell (Rick) of Atkins, IA; her sister Sarah Drew of Cedar Rapids, IA; her sister-in-law Kate Urell of Waukon; and her daughter-in-law Becky Brandt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren.
