We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Larry Joe Hanson Jr. (Atkins, Iowa), born in Fairfax, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Clarence Hanson, Jr. and James Leroy Upah; his aunts, LaWonna Hanson and Jessica Upah; and his close friend Josh Wagner.
He is survived by: his children, Leyton, Briella and Adalia; his parents, Jennifer Sr and Larry Joe Hanson, Sr.; his sisters, Shannon Honn (Gary) of Fairfax and Crystal Hanson (Dan Davidson) of Palo; his grandmothers, Anna Hanson of Bertram and Virginia Upah of Cedar Rapids; his nephews, Taylor, Landon, Gage, Deegan and Wrigley; his niece Madison; and his close friends, Brad, Shaddy and Andre. He is also survived by six aunts, eight uncles, fifteen cousins.
He loved quoting lines from his favorite movies including his favorite quote: "To my family and friends, I just want to tell you that I love you because yesterday is gone, today's almost over, and tomorrow is not promised." In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
