Jerry L. Scheel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry L. Scheel (Atkins, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 11, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Vesta; his brother Raymond; his brother-in-law Danny Ulmer; and his mother-in-law Mickey Ulmer.

He is survived by: his spouses, Patricia "Patti" Ulmer and Patti Jo Scheel; his daughter Nikki Scheel (Joseph Williams); his nephew Randy Scheel; his niece Donna Jo Scheel; his sister-in-law Julie Scheel; his father-in-law Chuck Ulmer; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Ulmer-Fisher (Jeff) and Linda Sue Ulmer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
