He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Ness; and his stepmother Carol Ness. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Lange Ness; his wife Shelly Miner; his daughters, Ashley Wessels (Wade) of Ely and Lauren Ness (Mark Szkodyn) of Cedar Rapids; his stepfather Steve Suby; his siblings, Steve Ness and Renee Stribling; and his parents-in-law, Don and Louise Miner. He is also survived by three brothers in-law; three sisters in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
