James Richard Buol Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020, at the age of 76, James Richard Buol of Atalissa, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond John "Jack" and Mildred Buol (Doden); his brothers, Bernard, Loren and Jerry; and his grandson Nicholas.
He is survived by: his pets, Suzy and Heidi; his close friend Sasha; his wife Evelyn; his sister Cindy Nus (Doug); and his children, Dan Buol (Mary) of West Liberty, IA, Lori Mettler (Eric) of Davenport, IA and Jim Buol, Jr. (Heidi) of Eastham, MA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Iowa City Hospice or to the West Branch American Legion Post Chauncy Butler, Post 514.
