She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thiner and Edith Thiner (Benner); her husband James Strouth; her siblings, Philip, John, Laura, Ralph, Catherine and Charlie; her grandsons, Jeremy Miller and Shawn Iedema; and her son-in-law Mike Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Clara Miller (Jim) of Brandon, SD, Jan Iedema (Bob) of Ashton, IA, Pete Strouth (Judy Ulrich) of Ashton, IA, Donna Johnson of Ashton, IA, Larry Strouth of Ashton, IA, Theresa Tremmel (Mark Ishmael) of Yankton, SD, Bonnie Wiersma (Walt) of Ashton, IA and Mary Johnson (Kelly) of Ashton, IA; her siblings, Francis Thiner, Everett Thiner, Leonard Thiner, Joe Thiner, Roger Thiner, Eleanor Sether and Hazel Sundstrom; and her great grandchild Emery Kooima. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
