He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pat and Wendel Staab. He is survived by: his wife Jessica Marks (Scheibler); his child Kaitlynn (Will) of Remsen, IA; his grandchildren, Leeland, Kira and Lucas; his children, Dylan of Orange City, IA and Trinity of Ashton, IA; his parent Linda Pick of Remsen, IA; and his brothers, Morrie (Heather) of Remsen, IA and Chris (Melissa) of West Bend, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

“My family all them knew Jason since he was 16 and me 15 . We were high school sweethearts and had two children together. My family and everyone my side who knew them we mourn his loss and all his dreams . We have so many memories as kids and my family was a big part his life got him his first motorcycle. We weren’t allowed to go to the funeral but watched it online . We are sad and I’m going to say for all of us including my parents we are sorry for the loss and will have our good memories .”
