She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kessler and Emma Kessler (Hansen); her husband Roland Oxendale; her sister Ferne Carstensen; her parents-in-law, Jim and Peg Oxendale; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Hemer (Roy) and John Oxendale (Ila).
She is survived by: her daughter Julie of Arthur, IA; her grandchildren, Alexandra Johanna Russell of Utah and William Roland Russell of Colorado; and her brothers-in-law, Leonard "Stub" Carstensen of Odebolt, IA and Jim Oxendale (Pat) of Ida Grove, IA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lois' name to the EMT, fire department or the library of Arthur, Iowa.
