She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Petersen and Irene Petersen (Tally); her brother Jerry; her sister-in-law Doris Petersen; her parents-in-law, Mabyl and Lewis Haefner; her brothers-in-law, Roger Linman and Duane Simonson; and her nieces, Danel Simonson and Tara Schroeder.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Haefner of Arthur, IA; her children, Neil Haefner (Julie) of Grand Junction, IA, Rhonda Linsley (Jeff) of Macon, MO and Koreen Delp (Steve) of Alta, IA; her grandchildren, Theresa Terry (Brad) of Bettendorf, IA, Jaina Spielman (Luke) of North Liberty, IA, Rheeann Linsley of Columbia, MO, Austin Delp of Scottsdale, AZ, Sheldon Linsley of Columbia, MO and Trenton Delp (Brielle) of Manor, TX; her great grandchildren, Lynae, John, Joe, Mya Terry, Adalyn, Rowan Spielman and Monroe Delp; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Linman and Donna Simonson of Odebolt, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt (213 5th St, Odebolt, IA 51458).
