Art Svestka Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Art Svestka of Arthur, Iowa, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruben Svestka and Jessie Svestka (Shimek); his wife Lois Picht; his children, Mike (Sandy) of Owatonna, MN, Jeff (Jessie Ping) of Rhonert Park, CA, Rochelle and Doug (Jeni) of Lakeville, MN; his grandchildren, Matt Svestka, Emily Pearson, Megan Pearson, Sunny Liang, Scarlett Svestka, Georgia Svestka and Mimi Svestka; his brother Paul Svestka (Pat); and his sister-in-law Donna Svestka. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced and personal masks must be worn at all times.
Memorials may be given to Notre Dame Parish or HOCA (Howard County Cancer Association).
