She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Crit and Zella Mae McDonald (Hembry); her husbands, Kenneth Doland and Gerald "Jerry" Smith; her children, Pamela Rackard and Raymond Sutton, Jr.; and her siblings, June Van, Clifford McDonald and Charles McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, James Sutton (Joni Vest) and Jackie Livengood (Shane); her siblings, Emily Black, Faye Goodwin and Arthur Melvin McDonald; and her pet Zoey. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; her eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pence Reese Funeral Home (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1600 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208).
