He is survived by: his grandchild Jayce; his wife Jo (Jo); his children, Tyler Abens (Sara) of Webster City, Jayce Abens of Ames and Tracy Evans (Lance); his grandchildren, Wesley Ray and Hampton Jo Evans of Arnolds Park; his brother Maury Abens (Judy) of Humboldt; his nephews, Bob Abens of Humboldt and James Abens (Megan) of Grimes; his brother Harlan Abens of Huntington, Texas; his nephew Uriah Abens (Taffi) of Huntington, TX; his siblings-in-law, Julie and David Gibson of Sioux Falls, SD; his nephews, Scott Gibson (Melissa) of Sioux Falls, SD and Bill Gibson (Amy) of Dillon, CO; his siblings-in-law, Janet and Rick Briggs of Arnolds Park; his nephews, Ryan Briggs (Debbie) of Matthews, NC and Tony Briggs (Kristin) of Pella, IA; and his uncles, Orlin Olson (Millie) of Fort Dodge and Olson. He is also survived by cousins, great nephews, and great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Keith Abens Memorial Fund to support his passion for music and wrestling programs.
