He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bass and Virginia Bass (Denman). He is survived by: his wife Jan Bullis of Arnolds Park; his children, Sam Bass and Holly Shiffgen-Whitaker (Jeff); his granddaughters, Madeleine and Hallie Whitaker; and his pet Sydney.
