He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Halligan and Clara Halligan (Hayek); his grandson Cael Halligan; his siblings, Robert Halligan (Betty), Phillip Halligan (Pat) and Joan Johnnson (Ted); and his son-in-law Dwayne Lohman.
He is survived by: his wife Darlyne Lombard; his children, Jane Halligan of Algonquin Il, Peter Halligan of Oelwein and Ruth Sturch (Jerry) of Raymond, IA; his grandchildren, Levi Lohman, Collin Halligan, Connor Halligan, Jackson Halligan, Betsy Halligan, Jensen Halligan, Brandon Sturch, Austin Sturch Hunter (Harmony) and Payton Sturch; and his great grandchildren, Maddox Sturch and Scarlett Sturch.
A memorial fund has been established by the family.
