He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Knipper and Elizabeth Knipper (Nefzger); his siblings, Aloyuis, Raymond, Alfred Knipper, Germaine Klaren and Jeanette Hamer; and his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Klaren, Morgan Hamer, Margaret Knipper and Betty Knipper.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Knipper (Cashen) of Arlington; his stepchildren, Elaine Rosburg (Dan) of Fayette, Steven Oliver (Jackie) of Aurora, Ellen Rule (Ron) of Arlington and Laura Meehan of Mason City; his stepgrandchildren, David Rosburg (Erin), Michael Rosburg (Stacy Mulford), Ryan Rosburg (Nicole), Holly Reiling (Jeremy), Matthew Oliver (Libby), Heidi Johnson (Barry), Jillian Conner (Scott), Chase Meehan (Ann) and Mark Meehan (Jessica); his brother Leonard Knipper (Grace) of Arlington; and his sister-in-law Grace Knipper of Edgewood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
