With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Beryl Welsh of Argyle, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Welsh and Marjorie Kimball Welsh; his former wife Barb; his son Patrick Welsh; his brother Gary Welsh; his father-in-law Everett Smith; and also Barbara Bloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie M. Smith; his daughters, Nicole Apgar (Chris) of Burlington, IA and Marjorie Welsh (Marcia MacInnis) of Plymouth, MA; his stepchildren, Erin Whaley (Chris) of Keokuk and Justin Williams (Sarah) of North Liberty, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Samantha, Elizabeth, Gavin Congdon, Matthew, Rebecca Whaley, Ethan and Kailey Williams; his brother Charlie Welsh of Montrose, IA; his sisters-in-law, Jeannie of Montrose, IA and Mary Welsh of Montrose, IA; his nephews, Josh Welsh and Shane Hitchcock; and his pets, Bella and Lucy.
Social distancing requirements will be in place and masks are required at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Living Waters Assembly of God.
