She was predeceased by: her parents, Melburn F. Young and Ellen Evelyn Young (Hawkins); her sister-in-law Barbara Billings of Donnellson, Iowa; her stepfather Francis Stephenson; her son Randy Rempe; her son-in-law Jerry Boeding; and her brother John Young.
She is survived by: her husband John Rempe of Fort Madison; her daughters, Brenda Boeding of West Point and Tina Penrod (Kent) of Fort Madison; her daughter-in-law Janette Rempe of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her grandson Bradly Penrod. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
