She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Richey and Nellie M. Richey (Beckett); her husband Louis R. Smith; her sons-in-law, Melvin Brotherton and Ron Thompson; and her sister Eula.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Smith (Patsy), Christine Brotherton, Kathy Smith, Penny Mitchell (Jeff) and Peggy Smith (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Denise Kemper, Chad Brotherton, Jacob Smith, Misty Casey, Nichole Loges, Levi Smith, Justin Thompson and Ethan Thompson. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; five great - great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
